DIU Blue Integration Service for Alta X (Pilot Pro)

For existing operators that have an Alta X, we are offering an upgrade path to convert your drone into a DIU approved solution
matching our ATO for the Alta X (DIU Blue Package).
This integration service includes:
- Pilot Pro pilot controller and RFD900 Hardware
- Installation and configuration of the Pilot Pro controller and airside radio
- DIU Approved firmware
- Our 1000 flight hr checkup service (details here)
This service is available for any customer with an Alta X and is priced at $12,500.* You’ll be responsible for getting it to Freefly, but return shipping is included with the service cost.
Please check the tech specs tab to make sure that the provisions of this Alta X configurations match your needs, as the designation and restrictions cannot be undone in the field.

*If the Alta X is received by Freefly with physical damage, additional costs will need to be approved before we can proceed with this upgrade.
- Pilot Pro (DIU Blue) uses RFD900 for radio communication between the pilot and the Alta X.
- Alta X + Pilot Pro (DIU Blue) has the following unique qualities that are not configurable in the field, per our Authority To Operate (ATO):
- Unique flight controller firmware branch that cannot be reverted to non-DIU.
- Disabled WiFi connectivity
Does not support Remote ID*
*If your Alta X has Remote ID currently, it will be removed during service. Operating without Remote ID in the US requires an FAA Remote ID Waiver, which we need a copy of on file in order to administer this upgrade.
