Freefly Armor is bigger and better than ever!
We're now offering an annual membership so you can keep your equipment covered as long as you operate it. Building on our prior offering, while you are subscribed you get:
- Continuous warranty coverage
- Priority service routing
- An annual check up service for each drone
- 25% discount on non-warranty repairs and training
- Priority free access to demo equipment from our line of drones, payloads and high-speed cameras
Freefly Armor is available at the time of purchase of an applicable product (Astro or Alta X) directly from the Freefly website or through an Authorized Reseller. If you already have a Freefly drone that you would like to have Armor coverage, reach out to our support team for options.
The membership cost is per drone, per year. If you have 10 or more drones, please reach out to our support team for a discounted rate for your 10th drone and beyond.
Priority Service
- Your covered equipment during membership will automatically be slotted into the priority service queue when it arrives at Freefly for any service. Our target will be to turn your service around in less than a week.
- We're building a fleet of loaner aircraft that will be available for request to reduce your down time further.
- You will also have priority for no-cost demo equipment to try before you buy, from our entire ecosystem of payloads, drones and cameras. Want to try an OGI payload for a week before committing to adding it to your fleet, let us know!
Continuous Warranty
- While you are actively subscribed to Armor, your drone (Alta X, Alta X Gen2, Astro or Astro Max), your Pilot Pro, and your LR1 (if you have one) your factory warranty doesn't expire*
- The factory limited warranty covers parts and labor on repairs needed due to manufacturer defects (generally does not include physical damage caused by operators, weather, etc). It also covers FedEx Ground shipping costs to get the equipment back to you after warranty service, along with any applicable taxes/duty/vat that is due when re-entering your country after service.
- The warranty does not apply to batteries, chargers, accessories or other payloads.
Service & Training Discount
- This 25% discount is valid throughout your membership period and can be applied to any service or training that Freefly offers for your covered equipment.***
Annual Checkup
- To make sure your equipment is in top shape and ready for work, it needs to come in for service annually for the included product checkup service.
- Shipping costs to get it to Freefly aren't covered,** but we'll ship it back FedEx Ground for free.
- Additional costs may be due if damage or wear exceeds the thresholds of the Astro or Alta X checkup service.
- Alta X Checkup does not cover accessories that were not included with the Alta X chassis when purchased.
- Astro Checkup does not include service or inspection of payloads (other than LR1), accessories, or batteries.
Fleet Membership Rates
- Eligibility for better annual rates on your 10th covered drone and beyond.
- Reach out to our support team if you have a fleet that you'd like to cover with an Armor membership.
*Warranty coverage is available through Armor membership for the production life of the product, plus one year after it reaches end of life.
**Shipping costs to send equipment coming back to Freefly for evaluation/service are the responsibility of the customer.
***Applied to training costs only. Travel costs for training on site at your location are billed at actual costs.
An Armor membership is available for purchase with your Freefly drone either directly from Freefly or from any authorized reseller when you are purchasing your aircraft. If you have existing aircraft that you would like Armor coverage for, contact our support team for next steps.
