Astro Max Spare Propeller Set (2270 High Efficiency)

This set includes two replacement Astro Max propellers (one clockwise, one counter-clockwise) and fasteners. These props are 22" long unfolded, providing a 10% increase in efficiency and flight time over the prior 21" Astro Max props. 

Astro vs Astro Max Props

The Astro is equipped with Freefly F45 motors, where the Astro Max has a newer Freefly 7010 motor. In addition to providing more thrust than the prior generation motor, the Astro Max 7010 motors have a different mounting pattern for props than the F45 motor. It's easy to identify which motor you have visually, just check out the image on the page that shows both motors. 

How many of these do you need?

1. If your Astro Max already has 22" props marked with "2270", just purchase what you feel comfortable having for spares. Most people have one set (one each CW & CCW) in their kit. 
2. If you want to upgrade your Astro Max to maximize flight time, you'll need to purchase two sets of these new props. Plus maybe a third set to have a spare pair in your kit. 
3. If you just need a replacement prop (CW or CCW) and have 21" props on your Astro Max marked with 2170 on the blade, you'll need to purchase two sets of these new props so you can replace the props on all four motors. 
4. If you have an Astro, not an Astro Max, these will not fit on your drone. You need these.

Notes

• Not compatible with Astro F45 motors. 
• Cannot be mixed with other versions of Astro Max props (2170 props). All props on your Astro need the same marking, either all 2170, or all 2270. 
• See the Astro Maintenance Manual for instructions on inspecting and replacing propellers.
• The propeller blades are a matched and balanced pair (i.e. the clockwise blades are a pair) and are pre-mounted to the hub. Do not replace individual blades.
