Warranty Extension
Warranty that lasts
The manufacturer parts and labor warranty is included for the full duration of your membership.
Starting after 2 years in service, drones must come in for their annual checkups to continue to qualify for the warranty extension benefit.
The manufacturer's warranty will be extended for the duration of your subscription — up to 1 year after a product reaches end of life.

Freefly recommends sending your drones back once a year to ensure optimal long-term performance and reliability. These checkups are included at no additional cost with your Freefly Armor membership and can be scheduled in advance to fit your operational calendar.

Too busy to send it in?
We get it — but we recommend sending a log to our drone whisperers for a preventive maintenance review at least once a year.

Common questions
I have a drone fleet already and want in!
We'd love to welcome you to the program! If your drone is less than 1yr old, please send us logs and photos (including serial numbers) for each drone you'd like covered. If it's beyond a year, send it in for a checkup service. If you decide to move forward with the program, the checkup service is included!
I signed up for original Armor and it's expiring. Can I switch to this?
Yes! We'd love to keep you onboard. If your Armor is still active, your expanded benefits apply today and we'll check in before they expire.
What happens if my drone fails 10 years from now?
As long as we have parts, we'll support you. We maintain parts and service at least 1yr after a product is end of life and, after that, we continue to support customers until we are out of parts.
I work for a government entity — can I buy 2 or 3 years as a single PO line item?
Absolutely. Reach out to our sales team and we'll help you out.
Can I buy Armor coverage through my local Freefly dealer?
You can definitely buy through your local Freefly Authorized reseller. We'll still be your direct contact for all of your Fleet perks including physical services, log reviews, and demo equipment.
Are all of my LR1 Payloads covered? Do I need checkups on them?
LR1 payloads are covered under your Freefly Armor membership. Reach out to our support team for payload-specific registration and service cadence details.
