We host training at our headquarters in scenic Woodinville, WA. Let us know if you need help with directions.

Freefly Systems
15540 Wood-Red RD NE
STE A800
Woodinville, WA 98072

When do I need to be there?

Class sessions run 9am-5pm on the day or days of your class (with an hour or so break for lunch at mid-day), so arriving promptly ensures the maximum time spent with our instructors.

We recommend flying in the day before, as Seattle traffic can cause unexpected delays.

Which airport is best?

There are a couple airports with easy access to Woodinville:

Seatac International Airport (SEA) is the closest major airport to Freefly.

  • Full selection of rental car options

  • Served by many major airlines

  • 40-75 minutes travel to Freefly

Paine Field (PAE) is recently opened and is also near Freefly

  • Avis, Budget and Enterprise

  • Limited to Alaska and United flights

  • 30-50 minutes travel to Freefly

Where can I stay?

There are a number of hotels close to Freefly headquarters:

There are also many AirBnb hosts in Woodinville and surrounding areas (Bothell, Totem Lake, Redmond, Kirkland and Kenmore).

What should I bring?

  • Your Alta: If you have an Alta and want to fly it during the class, bring it! Unless you’ve changed your battery connectors, you don’t need to bring flight packs; just your Alta, radio and FPV gear (if you want to set up and use OSD).

  • A laptop: Great for Alta Pro QGroundControl mission planning or taking notes.
